Pavel Šplíchal - 2. část
Osudy Pavla Šplíchala jsme opustili v roce 1969,
kdy se rozpadla skupina The Sound Makers.
Pavel Šplíchal pak deset let na kytaru sáhl jen v soukromí. Jak sám tvrdil, stavěl mezitím tři domy, mimo jiné i ten, ve kterém jsme se sešli. „Tady, co sedíš, seděl nedávno Matěj Rupert z Monkey Bussines,“ pronesl například.
Nejvíc mě pobavil záchod. „Musím jít s tebou, nevím, jestli pochopíš systém splachování,“ nabídl se s pomocí. Aby člověk spláchl, musel za prkýnko zasunout dřevěnou tyčku.
„To tady jednou byli chlapi z Prahy. Došli si na záchod
a pak jsem zjistil, že nazvali svou kapelu Jasná páka,“ objasnil mi Pavel Šplíchal něco málo z historie slavné skupiny osmdesátých let.
K muzice se vrátil v roce 1979, když přišel z vojny Jiří Pekárek. Sehnali k bicím Jana Malicha a sestavili kapelu s názvem Projekt. Později se Jiří Pekárek vydal na profesionální dráhu a nahradil ho teprve sedmnáctiletý Petr Neuberg. Hráli především po vinárnách, ale prý ne jako vinárenská kapela. Vedoucí ve Sklípku ve Starých Splavech, kde vystupovali nejčastěji, o nich prohlásil: „Hrajete to nejhorší, co jsem kdy slyšel, ale dokud bude chodit tolik lidí, tak si dám klidně vatu do uší.“
„Šli jsme trochu do středního proudu. Už žádná divočina. Pekárek dělal na Suchého texty novou muziku, občas jsem přinesl svá slova já,“ přiznal Pavel Šplíchal. „S režimem jsme problémy neměli, prostě jsme nevystrkovali růžky.“ Přitom mi ale ukazoval fotky z té doby, na kterých je Sváťa Karásek, Mejla Hlavsa či Ivan Pešl z Primitives Group.
Asi po roce odešel z kapely Jan Malich (v současnosti hraje profesionálně v Petr Novák revival). Projekt stačil pro českolipský rozhlas nahrát tři písničky.
V roce 1984 se dali dohromady s dalším zpívajícím bubeníkem Aloisem Šafrem a ještě s Petrem Neubergem založili skupinu II. liga.
„Devět měsíců jsme cvičili a chystali si repertoár, jenže pak se Šafr opil v českolipském Bahnhofu, udělal si transparent s nápisem Proč jste sestřelili jihokorejské letadlo? – a dostal dva roky ve Valdicích. Zavřeli ho po jediným koncertu. V Chotovicích.“
V projektu II. liga se pak vystřídalo několik dalších muzikantů. Třeba Václav Jelínek, který zpíval místo zavřeného Šafra, Petr Úža Zdeněk, který hrál i v Jazz Q slavného jazzmana Martina Kratochvíla. Oporou byl i bubeník a zpěvák Míla Louda Blahovec. Za nejkrásnější koncert považuje Pavel Šplíchal ten, který se odehrál v Brništi. Vystupovali jako předkapela OK Bandu. „Když jsme dohráli a nastoupil Kočandrle s tou svou partou, lidi začali házet bahno a chtěli II. ligu zpět. Pak jsme si už moc neužili. Měli jsme v podstatě tři repertoáry, ale úspěšnou vlastní tvorbou jsme mohli táhnout celou tancovačku. Myslím, že mnohé se mi skoro povedly,“ uzavírá rozhovor Pavel Šplíchal.
Úplně naposledy vystoupila II. liga prvního května 1990, kdy podpořila Občanské fórum nedlouho před prvními svobodnými volbami.
Když jsem přijel do Doks za Pavlem Šplíchalem podruhé, čekala mě další překvapení. Kromě toho, že mi nahrál na kazetu dvě desítky demosnímků, věnoval mi i složku plnou dokumentů. Desítky textů z různých období, ale také originály protokolů z přehrávek (…vedoucí souboru předloží seznam 50 skladeb repertoáru s uvedením autorů textu a hudby; nejméně 70% skladeb musí být ze socialistické tvorby; nejvýše 5% může být zpíváno v jiném jazyce než mateřském … soubor vystupuje v oblečení, které používá při veřejných produkcích, protože bude hodnocen i estetický dojem). Kuriozitou je, že na jednom z dokumentů je jako zástupce městského výboru Socialistického svazu mládeže uveden Petr Skokan, pozdější starosta města a hejtman Libereckého kraje.
